Wow, my life is moving so fast- a mere 44 days until I will be in the old, free, high-mountained, deeply-wooded land of Sweden.
Since my last update, a mere 24hours ago, I have discovered:
* The semi-permanent job I thought I had secured is by no means a certainty. The guy I'm working for is on holiday for the week, so I will have to wait a few days until I find out about that.
* Having joked about curing hemarroids with electrical cable, apparently you might be able to after all- you could cauterise them with it- and thus I will have to find a new experiment... making bombs from household bleach, anyone?
* There is no such thing as a "dead-cert" and I was wise not to put money on Portugal winning the European Championships
* London is a seething mass of nightbuses, which will mean I could well get to see PearlBass's gig in Chalk Farm next Wed, which would be cool.
* Burger King's "Super Hero Meal Deal" was not all I'd hoped it would be, but the "web fries" were by and large aesthetically pleasing, even if they were just lattice chips and contained no super powers.
