Wow, I'm a regular genius...
No idea what happened to the results that were sent out nearly a week ago, but I resorted to getting them off the internet this morning.
Italian I got a 1st,
Swedish I got a good 2.1
and French improved from last semester's lowly 2.2 to a 2.1!
Overall, I got a 2.1 for the year, which counts as 30% of my degree... I'd really like to get a 1st, which now leaves me with a choice of do I work my arse off when I get back from Sweden to drag my grade up to that (being about 7% off one at the moment) or do I resign myself to getting a "drinking man's degree" like my brother did?
Might have found myself a job in the storeroom of Books etc., unpacking books for 6 hours a day- handed in my application on Friday and it didn't seem like the most hotly contested post ever. I'd really like it, as I've really never had a serious job and well, frankly I want the money.

But shhhh! My parents don't know yet and won't until next weekend when the happy couple are going to tell them over dinner!
This is turning into a really good day- I should try some things that don't normally work while my luck's in my favour!
