Funny- since I've started loitering in chat, I never update my blog anymore. Probably because I've already told half the people who read this what's going on in my life already!
Fortunately, I've managed to strike a good balance where the rest of my life has successfully carried on as normal. Thusly, some items of note and interest in no particular order:
Company Christmas party wasn't awful in the end. Dull, but not entirely boring.
I'm still a bit fed up with my colleagues, but hey, I only have to work with them, so I'm trying to get over it.
I'm tired but I'm about to go out and sit on the door at a gig.
Then go out to someone's birthday party because it's free to get in.
Then go back to work tomorrow morning. Last year this didn't seem as much of a problem as it does this year..
I've spent far too much money this month on clothes. In fact, generally I've spent far too much on everything this month. My budget has already gone out the window, 2 months in. Then again, I knew this month would be hard. I finally got fed up of my jeans falling off my ass, though and bought a couple of new pairs (one of which Still falls off my ass) and a couple of nice shirts and ties for party season-- just a couple-- and now I'm already 100 down... I figured they were necessities, though.
Thank God payday is early this month...
I've finally got a server home from work to practice on and study up for my exams. It's a little thing, but it means that in the long-term my general career prospects are looking up.
And... there's probably more stuff, but I should head out.
