I have booked a ticket to Seattle. I have no idea where I'm going or where I'm staying for the first 4 days I'm there yet, but that will just add to the adventure.
The 'band' I'm playing with at the moment have now finished 2 songs. By no means a torrent of musicality, but seeing as I wrote the bulk of those 2 songs in a total of about 3/4 hour, that's not too bad. They're talking about gigs at the moment; I told'em I'm not even considering it until we've finished 7 songs. 7 because I think that's enough material to fill a short set and possibly have one to chuck out because it's inevitably crap...
I found another potential flatmate on Sunday and then discovered shortly afterwards that he had lied to my face about something shortly before that. Guess that crosses him off the list...
I'm having trouble typing because I've spent most of this evening learning to sweep-pick and my left forearm is now mostly for show, so I'll leave this post here.
