Have you ever had a job where you are in a probationary period for a year. So basically if you screw up on anything, you can get fired. It looks like I am staring down that barrel right now, and I just signed a 1 year lease on an apartment.
I went to the doctor yesterday because I think I have strep throat, and my blood pressure was 157/97. Luckily I got some antibiotics, so I feel much better, but I am still sweating this job thing.
My boss told me that "suddenly we are over staffed by one person", and all this is resting in the hands of HR.
When I was hired, along with three others last September, we were over staffed by 4 people, but it takes so long to get us trained to take over for someone that it was okay. But now it's a problem, WTF???
