The 2016 Flash Fiction Challenge final entry deadline is only two weeks away, and I'm still struggling to finish writing anything. I have far too many beginnings, a handful of bodies(he.), and a troubling lack of satisfactory endings.
The words haven't been coming quickly or easily as of late. Sometimes you have to work harder for less. I have difficulty concentrating. I have to write my way out of the cycle.
For now, I'm writing about everything. What happens at work, the books I read, the things that happen when I'm walking home in the middle of the night. The things that make it hard to fall asleep when I do get home.

check out "A Movable Feast" by Hemingway... no one can write (said he) more than one or two good pages a day... but if you can do that, you'll have 100 pages in a season, and a novel by year's end.
