ok so theres this girl that i work with, and if you read my journals regularly, you'll probabally know who im talking about. her name's kaye, and she's pretty nuts... she's kinda pretty but i really find her personality (and uninhibitedness) to be EXTREMELY attractive... anyway, today i got the distinct impression that she asked me out... but i cant totally verify it, and ill need the help of you people...
ok so today i was sitting around in the backroom of Radi-ho smack, and i was eating chinese food for dinner. so the girl kaye comes in, and she didnt come to work. so im pleasnt to her as usual, and she's plesant back..we start talking about her options on phones until she gets her cell phone fixed (she has no land line)... and then she says something like "sorry im playing hard to get"... and at this point i dont really know what she's talking about, the cell phones or something else..... then she says to me (her exact words) "so when are you going to buy me chinese food?" and im like "huh, what tha fock?" (those wernt my exact words). she indeed said what i thought she said, and this to me sounded like she wanted to go out with me, so instead of backing out like i always do, or just laughing it off i actually try to seal the deal. so i said after some deliberation "how about tommorrow?" and then she said something like "your paying?" and im like"yeah..." so she agreed, and tommorrow when she gets off of work im taking her out for some chinese....
ok please anyone that has anything to say about this... was she flirting? was she asking? do you think she's just trying to get free food? i know probabally noone here actually knows her, but just give me something to go on... keep in mind this is the same girl who once said to me "just so you know, we cant go out" (since we work at the same store, its company policy). she said this out of nowhere with reason from my side to bring it up... but she is getting a transfer to another store, so technically there wouldnt be a work conflict if we had that mutual attraction. alright people, dont fail me now...
