Last night was the Our Lady Peace show. I went with this girl named Jennifer. The show was okay. Danko Jones opened up and was quite good. OLP didn't sound so great from where we were standing, but was pretty okay just the same.
She ditched me. I thought this only happened in movies, but she pulled the old bathroom thing. Right before the last song, she said she had to go to the bathroom and that I should wait there. She vanished. She never came back.
I waited inside then outside. I called her phone a few times. She'd disappeared.
I was worried at first. I thought maybe something happened to her.
Nothing happened except that she left. She hasn't returned my messages. She removed me from her LJ friends list.
You would think that after I paid for her ticket and her dinner, I would at least get a "Thanks." I'm not even sure that this was a date to begin with. I had only looked at it as two new friends going out to see a show. I wasn't really interested in dating her anyway.
It still sucks though. It still hurts.
