I don't quite get what the criteria is for some of these photosets. I mean, this website is "Punk rock and Goth pinups" or something like that, so I guess I kind of expect pinup quality photography. I'm not saying that everything has to look like a Vargas girl or Brinkman nose art, but maybe some sort of class, Bettie Grable style. For instance, one of the new sets, this chick named Lena; okay, sure she's pretty, but the set isn't all that interesting, she just sits there in front of some camo netting and then later on has a black flight jacket on. Not very interesting. Especially since the set was called "Night Mission" which is the name of a particularly famous B-24 Liberator from WW2 that had a very distinct nose art pinup on it. I guess I just expected more. A lot of these sets are just hit or miss. Now, that's not to say that there hasn't been some quality photography with some imaginative settings, but some of it is REALLY lame. I mean, shit, how many times can someone pose in the corner of their fucking bedroom. Here's a big peeve: One of the hottest ladies on this site is Buttercup, which is fucking rad, since she's way older than the average age of the models here. She had a great set that got REJECTED, despite fantastic lighting and setting and poses. I mean, it had it all, but it got rejected. I just invite you, dear reader, to take a look at Buttercup's rejected photoset and then look at say, Lena's and tell me which one is better. For crying out loud, I expect to see Pinup art here, not some camera phone shit.
