I did not read much when I was a kid because I had not liked it. I began to read when I was a teenager with the Dragon Lance saga (a classic in fantasy) and then I read a lot, but still in the fantasy genre. Then, I read the saga Eragon with which I fell in love, this universe, this harmony with the dragons ... I wish I could live there!
Anyway, the homework is about childhood books so here are mine :
Do you remember the "Books where you are the Hero" ?
They were my favorites. I have read them over and over again ... And, two years ago, at a nerd convention (like the Comic Con but in smaller) Ive met Sandrine Gestin, a drawing Artist, who did two of this books. Her name told me something because i was reading a big encyclopedie on the fantastic world wich she had worked on. And I immediately recognized her style and told her i loved her work. Then I asked her when she leave the convention to know if i still had time to go back to my flat, find those books in a box and come back. And, I did it. I bring them back to her and she smiles. She was moved to see her old work again and to meet one of the child that liked it.
She signed them to me. 15 years later ... :D
I would like to talk to you about other books, but i think it's enough for now. :)
