I think it's about time for a new blog. work has been cutting my hours due to the lack of business, so i've spent most of my day today watching stratosphere girl and drawing. i'm not complaining, though my wallet probably will be soon.
i'm trying to handcraft all of my christmas gifts this year. last year i made a variety of bath supplies for the family but i recently went to my aunt's and saw she hadn't used any of the bath scrub i gave her, haha. i think my mom got through half the jar just to be nice... so i'll be staying more with my strengths and not messing with oils or anything.
does anyone want a christmas card? i was thinking of making a bunch...
last saturday was my friend's 18th birthday. i had a weird moment when i was remembering being 18, and then remembering when i met said friend (she was 15 and i was..17 i think), and i felt really old. it didn't help that i was the oldest one at her birthday party. anyway, i got completely trashed on white wine and vodka and put a fucking cigarette out on my HAND because i'm an idiot. and i remember getting into a long conversation about dostoevsky and devendra banhart. all in all, an epic night.
