Instead of the class "wow, it's been a while, I'll post more often" promise of usual that never ends up coming to fruition, I'm just gonna update now, and who knows when the next time will be! It'll be like a surprise. And surprises always make things better don't they?
Currently enjoying a vacay with my wife in SW Florida for the first time without the rents here.
Just finished drinking some Smirnoff slushie while watching the SG Guide To Living (DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!) and excited about getting up early to enjoy the beach in the cool morning air.
Just started a new job at a different ad agency in Indy that treats it's employees MUCH better than my previous employer, and where I won't be working 60-70 hour weeks anymore.
Finally finding a scene that I feel I really fit in. I've been looking ever since I dropped out of the DDR scene at the end of high school and I think I've found it. ROLLER DERBY!! Going to those bouts with my wife just make me smile huge, and seriously, roller skates, tatoos, fishnets, and girls slamming girls into the ground? Awesome!
Generally life is really starting to look up for us. There are of course the down parts, i.e. my family. My parents are officially getting divorced (can't remember if I said that on here already) and both living with their new sig. others, which is an adventure all it's own. But right now I'm worrying about me, and my relationship with Platy. That's pretty much all I care about right now, and all I care about is going pretty damn well!
