And soooooooooo there I was, all ready to be off work this weekend, ready to take a run at living the free life of those who, well, get 48 or so hours off from work, but, lo, what training event through yonder window breaks? 'Tis some random unit in need of education and I am modestly deemed essential for such an endeavor.
For those who are playing along at home, this would be, um, the fifth weekend in a row that I have worked at least Saturday and part of Sunday. Pretty good stats. Damn shame I don't get paid hourly. Still, it should be entertaining, and one does have to justify that extra $1000/month in per diem one gets paid . . .
