update, update, UPDATE !!!!


dear friends,

i had more work done on my tattoo today. i had all of the shading done, which hurt because she had to cross-hatch, and the whole time she just jabbed at me. not fun. however, i will say that having your elbow done is not as bad as people may say. i can't really explain how it felt besides saying that it was just "weird." which, i know is a vague statement. but, i'm sticking to it. it "tickled hurt" because i giggled a little. i just felt like she was hitting my funny bone over and over again. the inside of my arm hurt more than my elbow, and i was a little light-headed at times. i took it like a champ though. i had two friends standing there, watching, so of course, i played it off as though there was no pain.

anyway- my arm is all wrapped up, and reeks of A & D lotion. yup, i smell like a diaper rash, kids. once i shower, and wash away all of the blood and grossness, i will be fine.

this sleeve is going to be gorgeous when it is finished. absolutely gorgeous.....
