well, with the help of my magnanimous leo friend sawks, i've got osx up and running reasonably on my powerbook. i'm not sure how i feel about it yet, i'm bad with change unless i have utmost control, and osx is lacking control of some details that are wanky but important to me. on the other hand, having unix with a nice interface is making me all squirrely, if you know what i mean. i'm going to use it for a few days and see how it goes.

we went to see a rock show tonight here in australia. giving support to the small but hopping aussie indie rock scene. you indie rockers, check out the indie rockers from down under: sodastream, art of fighting, augie march, big heavy stuff, dallas crane. to name a few. i don't reallly feel too excited about any of these bands, but they're really popular here and some people love them a whole lot. a good start for checking out the australian indie rock scene: mono.net, a music site from melbourne.

plans to move to portland become more solid daily. i'm broke and sf isn't kind to broke folks. no end in sight. in general, time for a change. five years in sf, five wonderful years, long enough.
