Have one of my friend's stag-do in London on Saturday. Judging by the emails flying around it looks like my ex-best friend is going.
He was my best friend from the ages of 12 upto 24 then he started a relationship with my girlfriend of 7 years and I havent said one word to him since.
He influenced my life as much as anyone could I think. Musically he got me into loads of bands (Smiths, SFA, Beatles ((I guess there is a counter-argument to say I would have eventually liked these bands in time anyway)) ) and he was the one that told me to read American Psycho; hence..bateman!
The break-up of the 3 of us (me, him, her) as our close little unit sent me into the wilderness for a couple of years and made it difficult for me to trust people but in a way it made me. I was free to re-build Leon from brand new and I like myself more now.
Anyway..Saturday- grudges and excessive amounts of alcohol..anyone else think this sounds like a disaster waiting to happen?

i don't know if i've recommended blue nile, they've been around a long time, though, and well worth checking out.
