I have a lot to be thankful to this site for.

Its introduced me to a lot of people that are starting to feel like genuine friends to me. I think if I left the site tomorrow I would carry on communicating with a fair few people on here. Im not planning on leaving though.

It was interesting to read people's comments about the friends list question I did yesterday. I think most people had a gut feeling whether they would be in my top ten and mostly they were correct in that.

I've only known some people on my list a very short time and friendships blossom slow and steadily so be patient if you think I dont like you enough yet...

Talking of friends Im meeting up with Anaphalaxis in London on Saturday and Im excited about that. Ive only met him 3 times but he feels like a genuine friend already and im sure he will like my friends outside of SG.

I think only a couple of my friends from way back when know about SG and know my girlfriend is an SG. I've wanted there to be a group on SG for partners of SGs because it can be a quirky experience.

When i first started being on SG and getting on with people like Iggy and Poison, I remember me showing some pics of them to my flatmate Chris and saying 'wow, look at these two, i've AIM-ed them and they actually seem to like me'. I used to show Chris SG a fair bit as he was curious to see what was eating up my time and I wanted him to see that it was a cool site and not just a porn site. I dont even like porn.

As I got closer to Iggy I became more protective of the site. When we agreed to become a couple and she came over here for the first time I told my 2 other closest mates (Jim and Mike) about the site and briefly showed them it to demonstrate she wasnt some porno queen. I didnt show them her set though as no sane boy would ever deliberately show naked pics of his girlfriend to others. I know there are a lot of men out there that would probably do that...but im not insane. Weird, but not insane. I told my closest friends as I felt sure it would come up at some stage sooner or later and I remember me, Iggy and my friends Mike and Sammy discussing the site over a chinese one night and it was a bit bizarre.

The site has made me less bothered about nudity actually. There is so much that I am de-sensitised to it and its actually good that it has re-inforced the idea that the women I get along with I find more physcially stimulating. Nature is clever like that. I dont mind people seeing her nude but I dont think I would post nude pics of her in my journal here. We did a set that got rejected on technical grounds (I had no idea what I was supposed to do as a photogrpaher) and I will post the occasional pic from that. I do some photos of myself occasionally and I dont think I would have an issue posting a semi-humourous nude set of myself here (I cant imagine the idea of me being nude totally serious) but if she found the idea too weird then i wouldnt. Also I like the idea of holding something back for her only. So no erections then..

Im saying all of this cos she is shooting a set tonight. I still find it a bit weird that she will be nude in front of other men. It unsettles me a bit as I will never be naked in front of anyone else but her in the flesh (ok, we want to kidnap Poison admittedly..). Im not being possessive i dont think. I hope not. I know that she is getting some good friends to do it, people who she is comfortable with, I know it will look great and I'll be proud and love it. When she is happy i am happy..so im not down. its just one of the weird things about dating an SG..sometimes its very surreal.
