Hey! Happy summer everyone! My mundane life has been working like a fiend and preparing to move from my hometown of Vancouver to Winnipeg in September.
I can't wait to be back in school so Ican have a haven away from reality.
Packing tends to really show oneself how much crap one can accumulate. It might also reveal how much of a sentamentalist you might be. I tend to just be an accumulator of crap and putting it into a box so the universe is more of an ordered system. DAMN YOU ENTROPY, i curse you out of spite for the laws of thermodynamics! if you enjoy chaos, then you shouldn't vacuum!
I get caught up in the dichotomy of the desire to rid myself of trinkets and baubles and the odd "rationale" that "i might eventually need this sometime".
I do like the idea that my crap gets to come with me on my 4 year soujourn. maybe i'll write a book about the adventures of my heavily used guitar picks and broken pencil erasers after they come to life and escape the confines of the plastic prison i willingly sent them to. they will exact their revenge on winnipeg, and then the entire world .
