Today has been nice and quiet.

My roomates have all run away for the day. I like my roomates but they have certain quirks that i find annoying.

The one is very spacey, and uses "finding the essence" in almost every sentence. it is a catch phrase mind you, as he gets caught up in spacing out rather than tapping into any potential he might have. he uses me for editing his papers and work and i think i am hard on him because there is a complete lack of cohesion in his thought patterns.

i'm sure they find some of my idiosyncrasies annoying as well. by and large though, it is a happy household. YAY!

today i read Scientific American magazine and went outside to fiddle around with the engineering of our backyard snowfort. i took a hockeystick and put hole in it vertically which i then filled up with water. it will diffuse and transfer heat to the snow around it, but it sh
ould also freeze up into supports.

i am lazing around and doing laundry and things. tonight i think i will go have a beer with the girl i tutored in molecular modelling chemistry. we brought her mark up from a 58 to a 78! she was really happy to have a B+! i'm happy for her too!
