1) Know how to listen and absorb what you are listening to. Too often do we wait until we can speak, instead of listening to the other person or side of the story.

2) Know how to talk about the music you like. May be a bit pedantic, but I despise when people say "I like it because it sounds good." Duh. But what makes it sound good to you? Talk it out, sound intelligent.

3) Know how to defend oneself, in matters spiritual, physical, or mental.
