What I look for in sets.

This week I decided to do my own blog topic. What do you look for in an SG photo set? What stands out? What keeps you intrigued? What types of things in a photo set seduce you?

Personally, I look for very specific non specific things. I make no sense I know. But let me explain.

I look for certain styles, poses, themes, or what I like to call "wow factors" which can be described as unique pops of color, unique props, a unique location, etc. And I look for these things from the photographer and model. You can see a series of work was done well when the connection between the photographer and model is translating through the photos. The way to tell if the model and photographer were vibing on a photo shoot is by seeing the intense beautiful flow of work.

So without further a due I'm going to list my top 3 I look for in a photo set.

1. The photos don't bounce around, but instead tell a story, where the changes are always happening gradual and steady. This keeps the viewers mind entertained allowing you to develop a personal connection of your own with the photos and the stories they tell.

2. I like to see a variety of expressions from the model. (This is something I actually have to work on with my own modeling. Lol) Variety of expressions lets you get a feel of what the lady is like in person. Almost as if you were hanging out with her and you were able to experience her different, habits, what excites here, what makes her irritated, or flirty, etc. Which I think again is fun and makes it personal to the viewer.

3. And the "wow factors" If the set has a consistent over all theme I'm automatically intrigued. If it has complimentary colors or an extraordinary use of lighting, I can't look away. If the model has random props to play with it makes the set more playful and allows your eyes to wander to interesting places.

So what are some of the things you look for? And what are some of your favorite sets that hit MR recently?

I look for creativity and unique aspects in a set. There have been so many sets over the years and certain things just get stale. A bedroom scene, for example, can still be exciting if it has some cool elements to it. Poses are important. Without some dynamic poses the pictures can be boring. A good set should have some energy to it too. The model should make sure she's look very sexy or having fun or whatever mood the set is giving off. Make me feel something while looking at your pictures.
