My old roommate came by to drop off some old mail he had of mine that was sitting in his car. One of the pieces was a voter regestartion card for the last provincial election.
He asked me how my life was going. I told him anout what has been going on in my personal life. He said he was sorry to hear that. I told him that I don't go out at all because I find the night life in this city is dull.
Vancouver isn't like Toronto. In Toronto the clubs are great because there is variety. In Vancouver the clubs play the same shitty hip hop/dance music that I cannot stand. I Toronto there are shows going all the time (bands don't skip Toronto). There is a lot of indie Theatre that is accessable by 1 bus or trolly. The Toronto Film festival is HUGE! People in that city have life in them and are actually doing things. There is always something going on.
Toronto is also really close to where I have always wanted to live New York.
I want to be some place where this is always something to do.

Then the second thought came, "Enh Why bother."
I too want to live in New York for a time, but not for too long in my case, maybe a year.
If you ever want a free place to crash in Toronto when I am there for school, you could most definitely crash at my place. I am sure though you have lots of people who'll let you crash out there. But yes, I just thought I would say that.
