Today was a day for a Makeover.

I went shopping and bought a nice pair of back knee high boots at the Shoe Warehouse on Granville for on sale for $39.99 (they were $79.99) . I felt good about purchasing the boots so, I decided to walk down Granville Street to see what else I could buy.

For the past few weeks I have wanting to do something different with my hair. As I walked down Granville Street I came up to the Zennkai Salon. I stopped looked through the salon window. I noticed the salon wasn't too busy so, I decided to open the front door and take a look inside.

I asked the girl at reception, " How much for a cut?" she said, "$55.00. Would you like to make an appointment?". I was a little unsure and almost said thank you very much but said, "No. I don't even know what I want to do with my hair." she said, " We could give you a free consultation." and I like the word free so I said, "O.k.".

I said in a chair and a stylist named Jon came to see me. I told him I have been to a few salons in the past week and I haven't made a decision about what to do with my "mop top". He described a style that would look good, would be fun, easy to do, give me variety and easy to grow out if I chose to do so. When he finished describing the cut I said, "Let's do it!"

When my makeover was complete I walked out of the salon with my new boots and a cute blond Pixie cut.

I rarely get a chance to pamper my self and I am happy I did it today.
