My Mother's best friend passed away this morning.

I have known Jan since I was six. Her daugheter Kelly was one of my best friends through out elementary, junior High and high school.

My thoughts are with you.

When I dream while I am asleep of two things will happen. I will encounter people I don't know in fictional settings and I will have an element of control or; my fears will get a hold of me and anything that my self-conscience is harboring will haunt me. When I wake up I will only remember bits and pieces of these dreams.

Last night...

The Menu

Chicken Cordon Bleu
Garlic and Onion Mashed Potatoes
European Salad with a Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing

Boyssenberry Swirl Soy Ice-cream

Today I took a sick day. I think I'm just exhausted from working a full seven days last week and my body finally told me to take a rest by giving me a soar throat and stuffed sinuses (making my head throb).

Since my 30th birthday is coming up (which I am not taking very well) I have been looking at my "things to do...

wow, Holy sheeit.

What a great journal entry. I am somewhat speechless, but I gotta say knowing you, I think you are totally capable of pulling any strength you need from any place that trys to hide it, and there's some lofty hights ahead.

haven't edited yet, but I don't think that's how you spell hieghts.

I still can't come up with anything to say about that story.

ok, maybe I edited a little.

I haven't chosen which path I will take. There are too many unanswered questions in front of me.

Either way I will have to take a leap of faith.
s_eldorado:
Before we start doing the friends dispensing sage advice from the safety of their computer chair, can you give us a bit more to go on about these questions and decisions?

Personally, I'm all for turning over new leaves but if you're going to make the leap, why not bring a parachute?

Or a jetpack? Jetpacks are cool!

s_eldorado:
Soo.... no jetpack then?

Seriously, I'm guessing then that the romantic path puts your self esteem in jeopardy? That's a tough one. Can't help you at all since I know neither the history nor the herstory.

Well I wish you the best of luck - I've no doubt you've got lots of friends you can talk to but if you ever want an outside, unbiased opinion, I'm a good listener. Or reader.

Whichever works for you but the offer stops at interpretive dance. (Had a bad experience as a child)

I have hit a fork in the road and I don't know if I should go left or right.

To my left is a new path that can lead towards a new life that will have pit falls but my journey will be one which is travelled alone.

To my right is the same path I have been taking. The faces of the people I...

I'm still unpacking my stuff and I am happy I have a new home.

I have a lot to let out but now is not the time.

Ciao
biggrin biggrin biggrin
s_eldorado:
Glad you're in a new place. That old roommate sounded like a severious drag.

I'm hoping to do a house warming at the end of April and naturally all the Vancouver SG crew will be invited..

Best of luck getting unpacked, I'm still not quite done and it's been a month already. Meh.

On St. Patrick's day CJ gave me a book called The Artist's Way. On the first page he wrote "I believe in you.....Believe in this Book.". When he gave the book I read that and cried.

Thank you CJ.
