Hi folks! Loong time no talking... shame! Shame! Shame!
So many things to keep up with, so little time: growing up and being a so-called adult is a damn trap!
I still work in that agency I already told you about, it's almost a year since I'm there and I feel like it's time to go for a bigger goal - to be completely honest, my dream is to go freelance but conscious of the taxation I'd undergo, I have to suffocate any impulse of independence and creativity.
Luckily, colleagues are cool and dealing with web marketing and digital communication is nice, so days go by relatively good. On the other hand, we’re still paid as freshly graduated people even if the majority of us is - or close to - 30 y.o., which means this is not the kind of job you’re supposed to keep as a grown up adult with lots of responsibilities to deal with.
Oh god. Since when I started to be soon boring?! I need to stop talking about work -.-
On a different note, I've followed the Barcelona Shootfest from the socials... girls, how I envied you all! The pool, the parties, the nights under the stars: I truly wish I could take part to something similar sooner or later.
Luckily, we all had the chance to take a look at what happened there: SG Staff is doing a great work on Instagram and Facebook, community is growing day after day!
On different news, I've started poledancing!
I don't remember if I already told you, but when a was younger - well... A LOT younger! - I used to practice artistic gymnastics: I stared when I was just a child, at the time I started to write my name, and I kept training until I was 15-16 (damn boys who got me distracted >_<).
From that time, I never got back to a gym for another reason aside from keeping myself in shape - and this means I've never been particularly happy to work out, never felt passionate about it. It has always been something on the duty list, something I had to do.
Poledance changed my point of view: finally I've found a discipline which keeps me challanged and willing to improve myself, finally I've some space and time to clear my mind from anything but learning those tricks or that combo.
I'm still a noob (not going to post pics this time ahah), I still can't do anything special... but really, now I can't wait for my pole lessons and the workouts, I'm approaching the gym in a completely different way that brings me back to my childhood :)
Needless to say, even if I don't think about it 'cause I enjoy the moments, I'm getting fitter. But it matters relatively now: my focus is on the pole, on the tricks and the routines... my focus is on getting stronger and feeling sexy doing it.
What do you feel about sports, work-out, training?
Now everybody talks about it but from my experience, you do need to like what you do in order to train in a successful way.
