and my tale of woe? go on, just for you! I was misdiagnosed with anorexia, turned out to be chronic malnutrition and a massive yeast overgrowth on my stomach and intestines, that was being fed by the sugar based energy drinks the doctor gave me. I went down to below 7 stone and couldn't do anything physically before i was properly diagnosed and treated, and because it had gone on so long i was technically supposed to be dead - but I didn't know that, so i wasn't. Anyway, after 5-6 years of proper treatment (and a diet that excludes all and any sugar - just try and find stuff in a supermarket without sugar in it, it's ridiculous!), i have recovered to where I am now. My stomach is always causing me hassle, I have constant pain to deal with, and my legs don't work properly any more (lack of strength). All a bit of a nightmare, but it's the hand I've been dealt and I have to find a way to bluff... wouldn't have been so bad if it was like it is on TV, where you get really ill and all your friends do all they can to make you feel better...funny how in real life, you nearly die and you get abandoned by all those you thought cared about you...that's almost the worst part of it. The worst part is my GF left me when i got ill, and I have been single ever since. That is the most painful part of it.

I used to study at Dartington College of Arts and crafts (they hate that!), which is how i know Totnes and the area. Lived in Halwell for a while as well, that was nice. The other member I thought was from devon isn't, he just surfs the same beaches as i used to! so I made a mistake. Never mind! He says he's moving to Devon later in the year...
