HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
So 2006 is over and for me it seemed to go really fast as unlike 2005 it wasn't peppered with illness drugs and bad news right up until the very last minute!
Being lazt as I am I only surfaced from bed 20 minutes ago to the biggest thunder storm we've had here for ages, I'm not sure if this is a good or bad omen but its not going to stop me feeling positive as last year was a lot more positive for me and I plan on keeping up the trend this year. I don't have a new years resolution as such but i promise that I will not be defeatest this year and if I only acheive on thing by 2008 I want to be off all forms of medication, thats all I'm asking for.
I kept meaning to fill in one of those end of year questionnaires that were circulating but alas I have not found the time for it so I'll just write out a few of my highlights from 2006 below.

On January 26th I turned 21, I still looked like a big balloon but I had a great time anyway, few people chose to celebrate my 21st with me but in all honesty I didn't care because it singled out just who my real friends are and funnily enough at the moment they appear to be the only ones lining up for this years party plans.
In February I decided to take a stand against my continually bloating body, it sucks so much not being in control of your own body and not even by treating it like a temple can help it. So off to the doctors I went and got given some tablets which were all set to help me lose a little of the weight. I wasn't expecting miracles I just wanted to be able to stand for more than an hour without my ankles feeling as though they would buckle under my weight.
Not a great deal that I can remember happened in March, but 2 moments stand out, the first losing my first half a stone
and the second making Sarah Lily run into the freezing cold sea so I could take pictures of her for my project. Everyone starred.
In April my dear daddy turned 50, and he went onthe lash to celebrate and turned up late for his ride home, my mum went mental ballistic and threatened him with a divorce, I've never seen her so mad in my life but by the day she seemed to have forgotten all about it! Oh yes and more importantly I joined the gym. And I actually went and I still do!
May saw the end of my first uear of uni, I'd completed a full term at last! Dress shopping with Beka for the end of year prom was probably the highlight of may as well as the prom itself I guess. I was displeased with my choice of outfit in the end but I was finally down to 12 stone and feeling a whole lot better avout myself.
June I began work in the school, had some very serious eye problems and decided to come off my magic pills as they were making me allergic to everything I touched. I was sad to see them go but the good thing was that the weight actually stayed off amazing. Work was lots of fun, its real funny working in an institution full of screaming kids, teenage hormones and meglomaniacs, it finally gave an accurate insight as to just how unnatural a school environment is.
July Gregory and I flew out to Australia and had lots of awesome fun sailing, jet skiing and lots of other fun water sports. I never actually showed any pictures of this so maybe one day i will fet around to uploading some and you can see!
August was boring. It was hot, busy and as usual my worst month of the year so I just gymed myself up and got rid of the excess calories from Australia's awesome donut shops! The only non event in August was when I arrived back from aus my eye pressure was through the roof and 3 below the emergency level. I was days away from losing my eye, but as my luck changed this year my awesome consultant whipped up a quick course of action and I was saved within a week. Phew!
September was back to uni and I was dreading the term because I heard the second year tutors were cunts. After the first project which I really hated, I'm actually starting to enjoy it again now, the tutors are actually really nice guys even though one of them has left now and I'm actually really looking forward to going back next week.
October doesn't stand out very much - oh yes I did dye my hair pink but its blonde again now though.
November was much the same only with more christmas shopping involved.
December is my favourite month of the year by far I think, I love christmas (though minus the over-indulgence and the mass consumer hell) uni finished for the term, christmas was lovely and last night passed by withouth making an impact which is ok with me. My brother and his friend went out dressed as the wind up toy from the orange adverts. If you're not a UK member then you will most likely have no idea what I'm talking about!
Now its January again, everything is fresh and new. I will close this entry by telling you to check out THESE GUYS Come atcha in 2007, straight outta Devon.
Cheerio chucks.
