i totally suck at updating lately.
but it's not as though anything really exciting has been happening to me lately...
wait. scratch that...
i applied for an internship being offered by the ymca here in town. there are 4 positions available for those of us who have our grade 12. and they're all lab assistant type positions in the u of s. doing stuff like plant pathology, oil seed research and even dna splicing. how fucking rad is that? by next week i should hear if about "assessment week", which is basically a 5 day, full time, unpaid period where i take a ton of aptitude and personality tests and whatnot to see if i can actually handle the work. and if i make it past that, i'll be interviewed by scientist types who i could possibly be working for/with. if i get past that, then a rigorous background check will be done on me, and if everything checks out, i'll get the position. *phew* cross yo' fingas kids.
i also applied for a caretaker position for an apartment building. basically my job there would be vaccuuming, washing windows, some yard maintenance and collecting rent. and i get a two bedroom suite....rent free. boo-yah!!! from what the guy told me, it should only be about 10 hours of work a week, meaning that the internship position would still be feasible, or any other job for that matter.
this also means that if i get this gig, the boy and i can move in together. we had a talk the other night, and found out that the two of us had both been itching to take the plunge so to speak. i'm excited, but also supa nervous. i mean, we've only been dating for 6 months and some change...and i can't help but think "are we rushing into things?"
*sigh*
i also got my hurr did. it looks way cute. i wish i had a camera.
aaaaand. it looks like my account is gonna be running out near the end of november. i might renew it, i might not. who knows?

2) i want to see your hair. i ORDER you to get a camera when you get one of those jobs (which you will)
3) after a week of being with the boy, i stayed there 13 out of 14 days every two weeks. most stuff, excluding my furniture, was at his place. officially we moved in together 2 months after we started dating. compare that to FOUR years with previous boy, and things didn't even work out. if it feels right, it's right. if it doesn't feel right, but you're hoping if you stick it out things will turn around, that's when you get into trouble.
now if you'll excuse me, my body seems to be trying to punish me for not having children. i'm going to go take a bath and yell at my uterus. xo
