*sniff* I had to regauge my monroe from an 18 to a 16... it's new and it hurt real bad 
. WHY did I have to do this? My ucking work keeps changing their policies on piercings... assholes. Before I was even hired, during my interview I asked if I could put a retainer in ,y tongue and nose. They said it was okay. Apparently one of the other girl cashiers got angry because she saw my retainer and she wasn't allowed to get hers done. So they told me to take mine out. I said that I was told it would be okay, and they got angry and told me to put a bandaid on it, and told the other girls that they could pierce their noses and put bandaids on them. Three girls pierced their nose and put a bandaid on it. I pierced my monroe and convered it with a bandaid too. I really don't care what I have to wear at work, so long as my holes don't close. A manager friend of mine told me they were expecting everyone to get tired of wearing the bandaids and that we would take the piercings out. When we didn't. they ordered us to all remove our piercings and showed us the dress code and EVEN BROUGHT THEIR LAWYER INTO IT. I got pissed, threatened them with legal actaion (I know they did something wrong there, but I don't know what or how to get them on it) and they backed off and went back to the retainers. I'm not too pissed anymore, except all this shit has caused my piercing to get irritated. But in case they pull it again, what the hell can I do? Can what a manager in the company told me (that retainters were okay) hold up against the dress code? I know they have done SOMETHING wrong here, and I know they know it (they wouldn't have brought their lawyer in or backed off so quickly if they were doing nothing wrong). Please help, before they pull it again.
