latency

Finally, internet at work. We've been without it for a week and it was a VERY long week.

Oh well, what to talk about .......... not much really. Work is work, life is life, and nothing much has happened in the past few days.

I think I have a problem. I always have to be doing something fun. I can't just sit there in an empty staff room and have lunch. I can't just sit at home and watch TV. I always have be out fishing, camping,walking outside or hanging out with friends. Sometimes I stay up late at night craving to get out of the house.

Sleeping is such a waste of time. Why can't the world operate at night and then shut down during the day for sleep ? (ok, i hate sleep but I admit, i know we do need it to live). So many times I've walked around late at night and all of the cool stores are closed. maybe that's why the night is so nice, because everything is shut down and there is almost no one around ...... you are forced to do nothing but enjoy the nice hum of the city ... it's almost tranquil.
