I'm sure that everyone must have heard about the murder of "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott.
I met Dime and Vinnie and the rest of Pantera before. They were awesome people, one of the nicest bands I have ever met. I know you hear people say how down to earth Dime was... and they are 100% correct based on my experience. I'll tell the story sometime later. I never claimed to be a huge fan of Pantera, becuase it was just not my style of music. However, being a musician, I realized how amazingly talented he was. Anyway, we lost a good person and it really sucks.
Does anyone know the status of his brother Vinnie? His bro was the drummer. They seem to be keeping that quiet. I have heard mixed reports, one saying that he died and one saying he was injured? I hope he is OK.
