20 "interesting" facts about Latch Beam:
1) My name isn't Latch Beam ... those are just two of my favorite words, which also make up my pen name.
2) I've played guitar since 5th grade... and a few other instruments. I love music.
3) I own the website The Socially Abrasive along with Jimmy Tango... its just a hobby, not my real job.
4) I am one of the youngest people in my profession... at least as far job title dictates. I work in the financial sector. You wont see pictures of me here because of this not because Im ugly, which I dont think I am??? LOL
5) I travel a lot... and work a lot!
6) I was a jock in school, but I got along well with pretty much every clique.
7) I went blind for about 48 hours, a few years ago... it was a rare eye virus. It was a very humbling experience.
8) I had acute appendicitis (That is when you have appendicitis and it goes away) a few years ago, which is even more rare than the above.
9) I make lists all the time (ever seen Hi Fidelity? I started doing it way before then though)... usually lists of ten instead of five.
10) I have a high I.Q. (I was always called an underachiever when I was younger... and throughout most of college, although that was due to the drink)
11) I have been cited in two history books for research I did in college... also a third should be out after next summer.
12) I am related to the Earp family (Wyatt, Morgan, Virgil Roger, and so on...).
13) I am obsessive-compulsive about many things...
14) ...and at the same time, I'm unorganized!?! I can't figure that one out.
15) I like art... I've been to a lot of museums. I paint on occasion, but I'm not very good at it.
16) I brew beer every once in a while... I like beer... I drink it often.
17) I love sports... I am always going to sporting events... There is beer there.
18) I booked regional/national bands through the second half of college/grad school for a university and some of the larger clubs around the area. (Bush, Stabbing Westward, Everclear, Bob Dylan, Violent Femmes, Third Eye Blind, Ash, Toadies, Tea Party, and so on...)
19) I learned to cook at a young age and was a chef through my first half of undergraduate college. I still like to cook, but don't have a lot of spare time.
20) I am 6'4" 240lbs... which really sucks for buying suits (50-52 long, 38 waist... that means everything needs to be f-ing tailored) and shoes (size 14-15... can't find those at the local department store!).
