So I started the week/ended the month in brilliant fashion, I fell down a flight of stairs at work and ended up in piss poor shape. Basically banged up, bruised, cut, you name it. I had the worst time walking for a day or so.
Yet I still went to a concert at the Festival Pier(in severe pain, which did get the best of me and I ducked out of the crowd early and left during the end of the headliner's set, so that kinda bummed me out, but still a good show). So here's some things....
-Halestorm keep getting better and better, I havent been this excited about a PA band in awhile
-Trivium just announced a show at the TLA with Chimaira and Whitechapel, this will be my 10th Trivium show but 1st time seeing them headline(the irony being the 1st time I saw them was at the same venue with Chimaira, only back in the summer of 2004)
-4 days and counting til the wedding, most people are sick of the couple already, but hey it should be a fun time
-Disney now owns Marvel, I actually think this could be beneficial in some aspects
-after the previously mentioned wedding I go on my diet/detox from booze, I have the Abs Diet book ready to go
-I just finished reading the memoirs of Sully Erna from Godsmack, actually really interesting, I recommend it
-haircut tommorow in time for the wedding, as Ive said before a friend does it so its a pretty easy process, also trimming up the man beard(still thinking of ideas, should be good though)
-I got so excited when it was chilly yesterday, only a matter of time
-football preseason ends this week, Sept 10th is the big kickoff(where apparently concerts happen all over, go figure) and the 1st Eagles game is the 13th, about time(and I should have my Jackson jersey by then)
-I also have the night off Friday, as in 1st Friday, I need to soak in some art-ness
-also have taken it upon myself to get a membership at the Michenor Musuem, who happens to be unveiling a HUGE Jim Henson exhibit next week
