EDIT: Before I divulge into what was posted earlier I just want to say this, despite dissaproving of MANY of his actions over the past 16 or 17 years, Micheal Jackson was an incredibly talented individual and he will be missed. His mark has been made though, "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough" is still one of the greatest pop songs ever. Just getting that out, back to the previous post......
Seriously, does anyone read there? anyway.....
So every year the city of York PA has a weeklong fair with a slew of concerts(and as it happens my best friend lives in York, actually, he lives within a mile of the fairgrounds-where hilariously someone in 2006 impaled their gennies on a fence trying to sneak into a Hinder concert because he didnt want to pay for parking-HAHA), and he finally swayed me to hang for a few days and go, mostly because of these 3 events:
Saturday, September 12, 2009 - Show Time: 6:00 PM
X-treme Homecoming Party
featuring TRAPT and DROWNING POOL
with special guests Charm City Devils and Halestorm
Tickets Prices:
$35 for track (festival seating no chairs) and Box Seats
$30 for grandstand seats
Thursday, September 17, 2009 - Show Time: 7:30 PM
ALICE COOPERS THEATRE OF DEATH TOUR
Tickets Prices:
$30 for track, plaza and center grandstand
$28 for side track, side plaza and side grandstand
Saturday, September 19, 2009 - Show Time: 8:00 PM
JEFF DUNHAM
$46 for Center track, plaza and grandstand
$39 for side track, plaza and grandstand
Honestly, that sounds like a whole lot of fun(the other shows are country or former American Idols-such as Kelly Clarkson who one day will be mine, I swear) but this seemed fun enough to merit a few days there(and quite a few libations in between).
Also yes, I like Trapt, I get shit for it constantly, but this song(especially) is a HUGE guiltly pleasure. So suck it....

jena:
He was truly the king of pop. I just edited in a Playlist mix- it's amazing.
jena:
Absolutely. It's a nice vacation, to stop and celebrate classic sounds. We need a break.
