It's my birthday!! biggrin

Had a good night at work hiding presents up for people with clues for them to find them. Been decorating my christmas cake with the mothership (which is looking shithot by the way) and now wrapping up presents to give to people tomorrow.


Anyways.... Thanks to those who have wished me happy birthday already smile

Actually, it's even easier for me : lots of formal english comes from latin, so as french. I studied a lot etymology and latin. A bunch of english expressions are very close to the french ones : they come almost "naturally" for me !


I'm fascinated by vocabulary of all sort, that's why I love to play with words.




And, actually, basic english is really easy to learn. Especially for us europeans - the syntax and grammar aren't so different. I started to learn japanese few years ago, and get interested by finnish, and i can tell you it's another level of difficulties ! o

What happened yesterday has made me realise that people don't even care. They're all talking like I would have done them a favour. My parents say they "don't want to have to worry about me anymore." that they don't want to "put up with me anymore". Sounds like I would have done them all a favour.
