So another horrendous night trying to sleep last night. It was around 6:45am when I finally started to nod off... my alarm was due to go off at 7:30 - not fun at all. Second day running I've meant to get get up early to go into town with my Mum to start my Xmas shopping. Thankfully she couldn't sleep last night either so she didn't go into town this morning either, so at least I didn't let her down. I haven't had much sleep this morning though. From 7:30 onwards it was all a bit of a combination of my snooze going off every 9 minutes and my parents calling me every so often. Actually got out of bed around 10 o'clock. I've kinda made up for not going into town though; I've ordered a couple of presents online and I've written a list of things I'm gonna go get from Argos before I go into work tonight.
As for the sleep though, I'm gonna have to start being really strict with myself and as insane as it sends me when I'm tossing and turning, I'm just gonna have to ride it out and just try, cos this getting no sleep malarky certainly ain't no fun. I'm gonna take a sleeping pill the second I get home from work tonight cos I really must get up early tomorrow.
Spoke to brother this morning and he's coming home on Saturday and will still be here for my birthday (23rd) so that's cool. I'm not making a big deal out of my birthday this year. Normally I'd go out with all my friends and get absolutely hammered. This year I just want to spend it with my family and boyfriend. We're all going for a meal on my birthday. It'll be nice cos it's not often me and my brother and sisters are all in the same room together.
The doorbell just went so I lost my train of thought. It was the post man!!!

Actually, it's even easier for me : lots of formal english comes from latin, so as french. I studied a lot etymology and latin. A bunch of english expressions are very close to the french ones : they come almost "naturally" for me !
I'm fascinated by vocabulary of all sort, that's why I love to play with words.
And, actually, basic english is really easy to learn. Especially for us europeans - the syntax and grammar aren't so different. I started to learn japanese few years ago, and get interested by finnish, and i can tell you it's another level of difficulties ! o
