Lol.. I have the cutest little funniest dog ever. As I write this he is laying in bed beside me licking my elbow and squealing like a baby pig. I call him my puppy but in actual fact he's 16 years old. There's still a hell of a lot of life left him in though. Before I whack out the photo's of us, I'll tell you a bit about him:
We got Toby around 3 years ago when he was 13 years old. He had come from a bad home where he was treated badly, not looked after properly and probably didn't get much love. His human parents were going through a divorce and because of this his mummy was going to have to move into a flat where she wouldn't be allowed to have pets. She was going to have him put down. Not because he was unwell, but because she couldn't look after him anymore. He couldn't go to live with his asshole of a dad because a) He was very mean to Toby (kicked him and stuff) and b) he didn't want him (Thankfully). Anyways, this woman was a collegue of my mothers and told her all this one day in conversation. Obviously my mother was horrified that she was going to have him put down and since we already had 1 yorkshire terrier (Lucy has since passed away) she immediantly jumped at the chance to have him. A few days after, Toby came to live with us
When he came to us he was a mess though. He had bald patches all over him, really bad skin, fleas and only 15 teeth which were in very bad condition (dogs are meant to have around 28 teeth). He was also very very nervous of everyone and everything. If you walked past him he would flinch and put his tails between his legs as if you were about to kick him
Anyways, we took him to the vets, all of his teeth had to be removed as they were so rotten, but apart from this and his skin problem he was a completely healthy little doggy
Within weeks his skin had cleared up and his fur grew back and he eventually got used to eating without his teeth. 3 years later he is still with us and still extremely healthy considering his age. The way he acts and how lively he is you really wouldn't think he's 16 years old. He's completely bonkers, funny and so happy now, and he does the cutest things. Oh, and he no longer flinch's or gets scared if you walk past him or anything.
And that's our Toby.
Anyways, to finish off, here's a few pictures I took earlier this evening on my phone of me and my best boy watching TV downstairs

Isn't he the cutest?!
