So, after getting all excited about going on a bike ride today; after getting all ready in my gear; I go into the garage to find my brand new (well, it's hardly been used since I bought it last year) bike has got a cunting puncher in one of the tyres! Grr. See, now going on a bike ride isn't something I'd normally do, so when I get these type of ideas I really just have to do them straight off- before I change my mind. I intended on biking away from the city; head towards a nice little tourism village, maybe have a tea somewhere then just head back. Mainly just for the exercise, but I was quite looking forward to just biking and see where my thoughts take me. I know I think a lot at home, but it just always seems nicer and things normally tend to make more sense when you're out in the open air doing something you wouldn't normally do. Oh well. I'll just have to get Dad to fix the puncher when he's not so much of a busy man. At least it's something to look forward to for when the weather gets nicer I guess. And no, I can't fix it myself, haha. I know it's easy but i'll only get stressed or bored with it and end up not doing it properly- and besides, I only just re-did my nails this morning so there's no chance!
Anyways, not all is lost
Mum suggested taking the exercise bike up into my bedroom since she doesn't use it anymore. And I've done just that. And I'll tell you now, corr, lifting that bloody heavy thing up the stairs was a workout in itself. It'll be good having it up here though because there's definitely more chance of me using it than using my push bike. Obviously being able to watch tele or listen to my music will help a great deal. Ya see, I never used my iPod when out on push bike. I did once, but to be honest with you- it scared me because obviously I couldn't hear anything and I'm quite a clumsy person anyways so I really need to know what's going on around me. So yeah, being able to listen to my music whilst riding in my room is gonna be cool and will definitely motivate me to actually use it! Anyways, best get to it
Ciao for now
