people, i have a problem.

i am obsessed.

i am obsessed with 'haint blue'.

living in key west for six years i noticed that almost all of the old house in 'old town' have haint blue under their balcony, porch etc.

and now that i am in new england (my father is in the hospital ), i literally am almost wrecking the range trying to peep under over-hangs and porticos. i also noticed that the new owners of my gorgeous greek revival home have painted the haint hue over the white under the portico.

i also saw this alot when i lived in the beautiful southeast, but never in all my south california days.

i am so obsessed, i want to paint every window/door trim/ceiling haint blue.

i know a little bit about the history/folklore of this...but i am dying to know more.
