Damn. I have nothing against an Evil Dead remake on principle, but I was hoping for Nicholas Brendon (Xander in Buffy) to be the star. I thought he would have done an awesome job.
I loved Battle Royale the movie, so I bought the book. It was pretty cool, but I had a really hard time keeping track of 40 Japanese names.
We'll see what my finances look like for D*C next year. But I have two other trips I'm considering, so I probably won't make it. Though it would be a perfect place to unveil my Torgo costume, if I ever get around to putting it together.

She's trying to get me to go next year. But like you pointed out, it's so expensive... And you're pretty close, even. It'd be quite a trek for me. I went to GenCon a few times while it was here, but never with a group or anything. And I was pretty young, so I didn't get much out of it. Except some Vampire: The Masquerade books I bought that I never even used.
