today has been a pretty terrible day. i was woken up by my mom to tell me that she thought that my passport was here. so i get up and open my mail to find out that it isn't my passport but actually a letter from them saying that they need me to list every job and supervisor i have ever had, every address i have ever lived at, every school i have gone to, references, and 3 forms of identification that are over 5 years old OTHER than my birth certificate, id, and social security card which they already had. i have worked at lots of jobs and had lots of addresses i sure don't remember every supervisor that i have ever had. it took me and my mom 6 hours of serious detective work to come up with everything that i needed. i called the 1-800 number that came with the paper and asked them if i would get my passport back in time since i had to mail all this new stuff and she said "probably." i asked her why they didn't ask for 6 forms of identification at the post office and she said "they didn't know." And I asked her why do i have to do this and she said "it is new thanks to the patriot act." FUCK YOU GEORGE W. so we went to the post office and overnighted the letter back to them which cost me $15.00. yikes. then i went to my doctor's appointment and dr. z wants me to check myself into the hospital AGAIN for all kinds of tests so i am going to be in the hospital friday and saturday which means no Dreamcon in Jacksonville for Molly! My nose is stopped up today and i had a fever so i took a nap and now tori is asleep so we wont be working out today. i really should have never gotten up this morning. would this have been easier to read if it wasn't just one long paragraph?

I hate this stupid system. I'm sure it works for all the slightly slow people in our society but god damn there should be a different system for those of us with commen sense.
