Last night i had a BLAST!! we went to the easy escape show. wasn't feeling the first two bands but i liked the north american blackout massacre, and that was the best i have seen the easy e play. and guess what? turns out, it isn't the last show!! so glad. they were able to work everything out and have now even had a small label show interest. they are back to asking me about doing the cover art for the cd again too. sweet. in the middle of everything getting my ask kicked, and kicking ass back (it was great to really let go, Rachel kept saying "Molly you're fucking crazy!!!" Somebody stole our pitcher of pbr. that is the first time that has ever happened to me. half full and me standing a foot from it, somebody took it!! grrr. how lame. it was like $1.50 worth of beer! josh and donnovan were awesome to hang out with and danielle even came out which never happens.
then me and david went up to mellow mushroom, he went to teach someone how to close and i was offered free beer if i came along. it was a country band playing but during their break, the bar played gangsta rap. that whole experience was surreal. then these kids invited us to a keg party. normally i wouldn't be interested at all in going but i was having such a good time and didn't want to go to bed so i was talked into it. turned out the part was in a house that i used to live in on cherokee street. SO WEIRD!! evidently a whole bunch of sorority girls live there now. so i sat on my old back porch teaching these girls how to do keg stands and talking about strip clubs. it was awesome!!
i really wish i had the sense to go to atlanta to see mirrormask. i am really dissapointed in it not coming here but it didn't even play in the big cities for very long. it turns out it is going to be forever and a day before it comes to dvd.

You are very wise, and I couldn't agree with you more. I still always get fooled by the masks some people wear to begin with though.

Yeah, I think it makes the let downs better if you try to avoid any expectations. It's a hard thing to do, that's why I try to go with the flow and let things go how they do. Though it rarely works that way.
