See I refused to do the Eiffel Tower due to it being all open to the air and such, and that freaks me out badly.
The Scott Monument gets me too, but both parts! The tiny, steep spiral staircase is horrible, especially with no handrails and people going up and down at the same time. And then the open ledges, urgh. At the Tower in Paris there's a roof you could go on, but that's all open with just a fence. If I'd gone up I'd be crying and hugging the floor.
If you do go to Paris look up Paris Passes, we got two day ones for about 90 and it got us free entry to every Museum and Historical site, free Metro travel and open top buses,well worth the money.

Got 'home' 12 hours ago. 37 hours of travelling and Im physically and mentally exhausted. Damn jetlag has icked in and Im also wide awake. Im back here for an indeterminate period of time until my full time visa is approved. Pretty bloody annoying, but just makes me more determined to get everythig sorted.

I seriously struggle to get on here nowadays. Limited internet access here. No cafe's even within a distance.
