It's been a blazing hot few days. Watching Christmas movies and listening to 'Fairytale of New York' among others. Sure, this isn't my First Australian Christmas, but the last time I came from -3 and a UK shutdown into 34 degrees here. Being here since June means I haven't had any cold on the run up.
It's fantastic but surreal being in the tropics this time of year. Those of you born here or spending time in hot counties probably laugh at my ignorance on this one. I have done a lot of travelling but a retail and ofi d background always meant that the run up to Christmas was overworked and over saturated with songs and forced sentiment from mid October. It's refreshing to have dodged that but bizarre at the same point!
Had an awesome adventure in Sydney today, went to see Gremlins at the cinema last night and I'm general have had a rocking week!
