Ah,

Feeling myself again - no Im not talking about oninism

I read over all my old blog posts and guess I must have lost it at some point...Well its been a rocky road the last few months. I read some of my early posts and thought I was reading the findings of a religious nut.....haha. Well Ive not been saved anyway Then my later blogs, some desperate loser.....WTF?!? I guess Im just used to having a good network of friends anywhere I go, and I find the scene here harder to crack. There arent many Alternative clubs or pubs, but tons of alternatively dressed people. Had a bit of good news today though.

I joined a group, the conversation cafe, through Facebook. Basically you go along, are given a random subject and have to talk about it for 15 minutes. Sounds pretty cool, and hey, If I dont make friends or find them dull - its a new experience, right?

I decided to change the tattooist Im going to for my half sleeve. Didnt mention that in the blog the other day. I think the girl I was going to go to looked very good, but realised afterwords it wasnt my style of tattooing, So I opted for this guy....

In the last couple of years Ive only gone to one Tattooist, David in Glasgow. On one occassion he had to reschedule and gave me an almost free sitting with one of his friends, a guest tattoist Ironically from Brighton. The guy was good, and freestyled a Misfits Skull looking out from a mirror. I get sleepy when Tattooed - apart from my chest piece...OMG!!!! Hurt like hell....But He freestyled it to big and it ran over a little Celtic tattoo I had, Orkney Runes. So the top of that one needs cleaned up and redrawn. Because of this Im quite nervous going somewhere new. That, and i'll feel weird going back to David now, when he sees Ive got new stuff - not that he'll care, I just feel like im being disloyal - and that sounds daft...not like I dont pay enough....haha

Anyway, thats in a month now...and I cant wait. Making some more changes to life as well. Good ones. The cycling is great, I love it. I finally achieved it to the top of my hill without gears. Nearly killed myself in the process, but the more you do it the easier its becoming. Made a basic Pasta Maranara for tea tonight. I hadnt cooked for a few weeks. Forgotten how relaxing it is. Bought new 14 up docs.....was getting sick of my Steelies, just look thug like. Still love my cherries though...Spent a bomb in a shop in town. Jump the Gun. Working out if I should wear a two tone suit to my sisters wedding in September or go with the kilt.....Think the kilt very stereotypical so I guess i'll start saving. Just had a good weekend of clearing my head and realising I was rushing into a lot of things in my life right now, when I should be enjoying my life......After a short period of madness I like the person I am again. So I can't promise to be sunshine and light all the time....but hopefully the blogs will get a little lighter.....

My only question is am I going to have to pay with my soul.........
