Interesting weekend..
Had destined myself to a quiet weekend at my parents house...no mobile signal and nowt all to do.
My Friend Dougie must have read my mind, sensed the boredom...
Got a text message from him just as about to call the folks. Weekend in Melrose for the 'rugby 7's', with Dougie and my other friend Andy - I hate sport as a rule, not partaking, but cant be arsed watching it most of the time. Still it was the company, not the event. My old flatmate Jonathan turned up....seen him 3 times in the last 10 years and everytime was an experience.....didnt dissapoint this time either..
Drinks in the afternoon in Melrose - Stopped after 3 because could feel the drink getting to me..cant drink in the afternoon, never have been able to. So went onto ...Lemonade

Backto the house, then onto Gallashields for a night drink. Wetherspoons. Was actually a not bad place...not great but again it was the company..The boys had been drinking all day and were pretty pissed, and I was starting to feel a bit myself....
End of the night, girl comes up - worst chat up line ever (still trying to work out if it was a chat up line or just a random insult).....'Are you a Catholic?' she ased me..Still trying to work out the correct response 14 hours later!!!
Anyway good times....
