Think this site rocks, and its only lately ive realised the full benifits of being a member. One think that frustrates me is the constraints of the PROFILE page. Its very difficult to remain truely individualistic on there, which is surprising for a site that deals with beautifully different and diverse individuals..

Im a small town boy, think Tat(t)ooine but ,even more secluded who realised at a very young age being 'different' in a small town wasnt going to work. If your the only 14 year old with a mohawk in a town of church going simpletons its a hard slog...
Not that being different is wrong, to me its the most exciting thing in the world. I love being an extrovert and love being introverted just as much....
So, I moved out....Bright lights Big City. Never felt so at home. Lived In Glasgow for years, hung around with likeminded people, played in bands, dj'ed and partied...Nearly Died in a fire while at Uni (studying Electronic Engineering with applied Mathematics - how geeky is that) so finished after 2nd year and went to New York for a small stint. Unfortnately my AUnt and Uncle, who I stayed with didnt tell me was upstate new york, nearer to Canada, and I was back in Smallville...
Moved back to Glasgow, Did sound production, television and video production - anyone into Belle and Sebastian will notice on Tigermilk they thank the 'kids from stow' - thatll be me then, helped produce that album and promoted with them in France.
Moved to London, Ran out of money moved back - bit like trainspotting LOL.
Boy meets girl. Boy falls in love. Girl doesn't!
This breaks Boys heart...
Boy meets another girl, Boy thinks hes in love, moves to Midlands, feels trapped..Not neccesarily Girls fault!
Boy then forgets who he is, unaware for years he is walking through a barren wasteland that identifies itself as his life. Boy loses interest in music, film, life. Boy is not aware of this until many moons later. Throws himself into work, does a great job, gets promoted and lives life for work. Boy does whole Couples thing.
At this point I was desperate to move again, London/Glasgow/Berlin/NYC - NOT UPSTATE!!!! but couldnt find courage to leave..
Boy then makes changes in life (including joining Suicide Girls), Learns to love life again, Moves back to Glasgow - (with Girl at this point) Boy reaquaints with old friends and makes new ones. Boy in denial that he is happy with Girl.Doesnt want to hurt her. Supports her through a career change and funds this...
Another promotion at work, Denial continues......Then...
Boy made redundant...
Girl refuses to support Boy even after all he's done for her...
Boy Leaves Girl, Gets basic job, has fun at it but knows there is life outside of work...Boy meets Suicide girls, chats, hangs, Flirts outragiously and loves his life. Maybe my Tattooed punk rock princess is finally waiting.....
