With celebration of a New Year, I feel we should all Celebrate a New Chapter or beginning to let go of animosity towards those we never talk to, such as family , old friends, distant relatives, etc.

I like to share this emotional event tonight that I had a phone call to my sister who I have not spoken to in 3 yrs.
shortly after reading a Taoist prayer to Mother Earth which says :

Because of our wrong perceptions and discrimination we have lived a life of separation, hatred, loneliness, suffering, and despair. We have allowed individualism to prevail, and it has caused a lot of damage and hardship to you and to ourselves. We have run after fame, wealth, power, and sensual pleasures and have forgotten that these pursuits could never bring us true happiness.

Forgiveness is something that can stitch the fabric of our lives and mend a seamless quilt of memories and tonight my heart reminded me of that essence of which my mind speaks and to humble myself and say hello - again.

I guess what I am trying to say is start the new years with a new beginning , and a brighter tomorrow.
