this used to be a sketchy corner. there used to be blocks of wacky unsafeness around these parts. the city changes and there are different places for people to be skerd of. they are getting less and less tho. gentrfied.

do you noticed how ther eis furniture hanging from the walls and windows? many of the pieces of furniture are warped and bent as if they fell out of alice's wonderland.

so this is sixth and howard for those who may not know.

back in ninety-two i must admit this longhaird from hawai'i was a tad bit nervous of gallanvanting down here during the day it was so shady. maybe i am just jaded now. maybe the fact that the lines of people hanging out, leaning against the buildings, shoulder upon shoulder just doin' nothing but getting fucked up and passing the time till the first and the fiftheenth are no more. yea, sure there are still people haging out down here but not like it used to be where there was crowds...

almost as if something was to happen you could be surrounded and disappeared like you had never been but a body passed out cold in a crumple against the wall.

there used to be an old used music store called black market music. they got moved out during the boom because of the change in rents. the inflation was lost on the landlords. they got their empty space, they invested tennant improvments and nobody rented because the bust had popped. it stayed empty until now, maybe i will have to confirm that... just lately. what a waste. so many cool spots evaporated because of greed and fenzy. so many places just left behind with no tennants to thrive at all. serves those sharks right.

slowly the city's underground communtiy repairs in the quiet, in the shadows to pop up for a minute and dart around a corner to stay ahead of what's after us all...

i forgot to mention i broke my brand new plastic lighter last night. broke the gas lever with my thumb.first flick. cheap plastic. so i used matches like a kid.
