Waiting, waiting, waiting... seems like that is the story of my life (but I'm sure I'm not alone in that). Everything has been really good lately, almost too good. If I make it through the next few weeks my life is going to change in ways I honestly can't imagine, almost all of them for the better. Anytime you gain the ability to say "fuck off" to more people, and more societal constructs, it has to be a good thing, right?

Anytime I feel euphoric it sets me to thinking of my next vacation adventure. I'm thinking Argentina and Chile this fall. Mmmm, hiking, wine country, Argentinean BBQ.

This weekend should be fun. I'm looking forward to a lot of Bluesfest, especially the Jazz Record Mart Blues Brunch (always a highlight), and dropping by the Book Fair. I also have my first run with the CARA (Chicago-Area Running Assoc) Marathon Training program on Saturday morning. They set it up to make it easy to do a long run once a week. They have pacers who run an exact pace, water and gatorade every 2-3 miles, and expert advice. It should be fun, and motivate me to keep up my fitness regimen. Oh, and in addition to all this, I'll be spending the rest of my waking hours working, workin, workn...
